Wife Murders Husband Due to Insufficient Income from His Bicycle Riding Venture

A commercial motorcycle operator in Kenya, commonly referred to as a Bodaboda rider, was tragically killed by his wife in a violent incident.

Reports indicate that the young man was fatally attacked at their residence in Rongai after returning home with a smaller amount of money than usual.

Eyewitness accounts reveal that upon his return from work, his wife became aware that he had earned considerably less due to adverse weather conditions impacting his business. This revelation sparked a heated argument between the couple. She confronted him about the household necessities that were lacking and insisted that he provide the necessary funds. When he was unable to meet her demands, a dispute ensued.

In a moment of uncontrollable anger, she rushed to the kitchen to retrieve a knife. The Bodaboda rider, sensing the threat, attempted to escape but lost his footing and fell. In that moment, his wife stabbed him in the chest, resulting in his immediate death.

By the time neighbors arrived at the scene, it was too late to save him.

At the time of this report, the wife had fled the location but has since been apprehended by the police, who have stated that she will face charges in court later this week.
