Gospel Singer Timileyin Ajayi Pleaded Not Guilty, Claims Memory Loss in Court Gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi, the suspected murderer of Salome Adaidu (Ele) has pleaded not guilty to the killing of the National Youth Service Corps member who died a few months ago at his residence. Timi Ajayi, the gospel artist initially pleading guilty, has retracted his statement after consulting with his legal team, now insisting he is not guilty.  In a shocking turn, he claimed he has no recollection of events, including signing his own statement. According to him, the last thing he remembers is being in the room with his late girlfriend. The Nasarawa State Police Command arrested him on January 12 and charged him to court for culpable homicide punishable with death. 10 killed, 30 suffer burns as another truck explodes in Abuja karu Bridge Some vehicles were razed on Wednesday when an explosion happened on Karu Bridge, along the Abuja-Nyanya-Keffi Road in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).    The incident happened when a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) truck lost control, crashed into Karu Bridge, and ramped into some vehicles, leading to an explosion. The fire destroyed some vehicles and prompted a significant emergency response. Some motorists were also feared dead in the fire. Eyewitnesses reported scenes of chaos as motorists and passengers attempted to flee the area to avoid the advancing flames.
