A man known as Ogbonna, who is commonly referred to as Mourinho, has reportedly taken the life of his former girlfriend, Chisom Ayogu, at his home located in the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State. The victim, who hailed from the Amufie community in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, had gone to visit Mourinho at his residence on New Anglican Road, Nsukka, to discuss her upcoming wedding, as reported by Vanguard. However, during her visit, Mourinho is said to have assaulted his ex-girlfriend. When assistance arrived, Chisom Ayogu was discovered to be unconscious. She was immediately transported to a nearby medical facility but was declared dead upon arrival by the medical personnel attending to her. The accused, Ogbonna, who is from the Igogoro community, also situated in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, has been apprehended by the police for questioning.
